IBS is a specialty of Ayurveda. Only a Holistic approach with Ayurveda, Yoga and diet can help as this problem involves psychological causes too. Add as much as curry leaves, fresh ginger in diet. These two are the specialized home remedies for IBS. Buttermilk is a very effective remedy too.

1 cup curd + 4 Cup of water, Churned in the mixer for 5 minutes. Remove the froth and add 5 gm of curry leaves and fresh ginger powder. Take this medicated processed buttermilk up to 500 ml a day. This will improve the bowel movements and reduce the urge for frequent motions up to a great extent.

Yoga plays a vital role, Please visit a expert yoga house and explain them all your health problems and get a personalized yogic plan, try to practice it at least 15 minutes a day.

Musta Arishtam 30 ml thrice daily after food and Dadimashtaka Choornam 3 gm + Bola parpati + Trivanga Bhasma 125 mg thrice daily 15 minutes before food with buttermilk helps.

Avoid Spicy, salty and oily foods, non vegetarian foods especially chicken products. Add adequate amount of water. Water processed with cumin seeds helps a lot.
