Acupuncture and Musculoskeletal Pain

Acupuncture is well known for its success in treating musculoskeletal pain, that is pain in the back, hips, shoulders, elbows, etc. Early in my acupuncture career, I found that over 90% of my patients with chronic pain had structural imbalances, usually involving the pelvis. One hip might be higher or more forward than the other. I found when treating, if I was unable to correct the structural imbalance, then my treatments would not have lasting results.
